How to reach Arshinagar Resort from Dhaka
One of the reasons guests keep coming back to Arshinagar is how little of the weekend the journey eats: from most of Dhaka, you're under the sal canopy in about 45 minutes. Here's how to make the drive painless.
The route by car
Head north out of Dhaka on the Dhaka–Mymensingh highway (N3) towards Gazipur. Continue past Gazipur Chowrasta towards Joydebpur, then follow local roads to Pajulia. The resort sits at 231 Uttar Chayabithi, Pajulia. Search "Arshinagar Resort" in Google Maps and the pin will take you door to door. Free parking with 24/7 security is available on the grounds.
Ride-share and hired cars
Uber and local ride-shares will happily make the trip; share our Google Maps pin with your driver before setting off, since "Pajulia" alone can confuse navigation apps. For a group, a hired microbus from Dhaka is the most comfortable option, and if your driver is staying over, dormitory lodging can be arranged with advance notice (see our guest policies).
When to leave Dhaka
The 45-minute estimate assumes you beat the traffic. Leaving Dhaka before 8:00 AM or after 8:00 PM keeps the drive short; mid-morning on government holidays is the slowest window. Night-stay check-in opens at 01:00 PM, and daylong guests are welcomed from 10:00 AM, so an early start means breakfast in the city and lunch under the trees.
On arrival
Keep a government photo ID handy for every guest: NID for Bangladeshi nationals, passport and visa for foreign nationals. Registration requires it. Then the forest takes over: check in, drop the bags, and let the pool, the pond and Forest Dine do the rest.
